What is Transformational Coaching?
Transformational coaching is a deep, holistic approach to personal development that focuses on lasting inner change, not just surface-level solutions. It helps people shift their mindset, beliefs, identity and behaviours so they can live more authentically and intentionally.
Your menopause consultation can be a powerful gateway to deeper personal transformation, often revealing areas where ongoing coaching could offer real, lasting benefits. As an EMCC accredited coach, I create a safe, professional space for you to explore, grow and thrive whilst supporting your journey through menopause and beyond
Here’s how and why:
1. Physical symptoms often uncover deeper challenges
Hot flushes, brain fog or sleep issues might be the reason someone books the consultation, but in talking through their symptoms, they often share struggles with confidence, stress, relationships or identity. Coaching helps explore and address these underlying issues.
Example: “I can’t focus at work” opens the door to explore career satisfaction, boundaries, or purpose.
2. Menopause triggers life reflection and re-evaluation
This phase often prompts women to ask:
“What do I really want now?”
“Who am I beyond the roles I’ve always played?”
A menopause consultation creates space for these questions and coaching supports the deeper exploration, decision-making, and redesign that often follows.
3. Hormonal change highlights mindset patterns
Clients may realise how much they’ve been pushing, people-pleasing or self-neglecting; patterns that coaching can help shift through mindset work, self-compassion and aligned action.
4. One empowered choice leads to more
Making one empowered change, such as improving sleep or setting a new routine, often builds momentum. Coaching keeps that momentum going, helping clients apply those wins to other areas (e.g. health, relationships, work-life balance).
5. It supports a whole-person, lifestyle-based approach
As menopause touches every aspect of life, the consultation naturally leads into areas covered by transformational coaching such as stress, nutrition, movement, purpose and personal growth

How can Coaching help you?
Clarity: A coach helps you get crystal clear on your goals, challenges, and next steps.
Accountability: Having someone to check in with keeps you committed and motivated.
New perspectives: Coaches often help you see blind spots or think differently about your situation.
Confidence building: With support and small wins, you build belief in yourself.
Skill development: Depending on the coaching type, you learn new tools, strategies, or habits.
Support through change: Whether it's career, health, mindset or personal growth, coaching offers structured support during transitions.
It’s not therapy (healing the past) and not consulting (giving expert advice) - coaching is about partnering with you to unlock your potential.
